Han-Chieh Chao received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, in 1989 and 1993, respectively. He is currently a professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Dong Hwa University, where he also serves as president. He is also with the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Ilan University, Taiwan. He was the Director of the Computer Center for Ministry of Education Taiwan from September 2008 to July 2010. His research interests include IPv6, Cross-Layer Design, Cloud Computing, IoT, and 5G Mobile Networks. He has authored or co-authored 4 books and has published about 400 refereed professional research papers. He has completed more than 150 MSEE thesis students and 11 Ph.D. students. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief for the Institution of Engineering and Technology Networks, the Journal of Internet Technology, the International Journal of Internet Protocol Technology, and the International Journal of Ad Hoc and Ubiquitous Computing. He is a Fellow of IET (IEE) and a Chartered Fellow of the British Computer Society. Dr. Chao has been ranked as the top 10 Computer Scientists in Taiwan for 2020 by Guide2Research. Due to Dr. Chao's contribution of suburban ICT education, he has been awarded the US President's Lifetime Achievement Award and International Albert Schweitzer Foundation Human Contribution Award in 2016, and South East Asia Regional Computer Confederation, SEARCC in 2017.

Jiann-Liang Chen was born in Taiwan, December 15, 1963. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 1989. Since August 1997, he has been with the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Dong Hwa University, where he was a professor and a Vice Dean of Science and Engineering College. He joins the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, as a Distinguished Professor and a Vice President. His current research interests are directed at AI applications, cybersecurity personal communication systems, and the Internet of Things.
Dr. Xin (Robert) Luo is a Distinguished Professor of Management Information Systems, an Endowed Creative Enterprise Chair, and an Endowed Dean's Professor of Research Excellence at the Robert O. Anderson School of Management of The University of New Mexico (UNM) in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. He is ranked No.1 worldwide for publication in the AIS Senior Scholars List of Premier Journals, including ISR, MISQ, JMIS, JAIS, EJIS, ISJ, JIT, JSIS, DSS, I&M, and I&O, for 2023-2025 and 2022-2024. Additionally, he has been listed in the Top 2% Global Scientists list published by Stanford University and Elsevier. His research interests center around behavioral information systems security management, consumer privacy protection, E-commerce/M-commerce, social commerce, innovative technologies (e.g., blockchain, machine vs. human interactions, cloud computing, green IS, e-healthcare, social network, etc.) for business strategic decision-making and development, and cross-cultural IT management. Before joining academia, he had worked as business associate, web project manager, assistant director, and senior web developer. He has received grants from NSA and NSF.
